Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Architectural Intern for the Life Sciences North America unit. You will work on architectural graphics, hand sketches, and digital formatting, collaborating with in-house architects and engineers to refine design concepts.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited Architecture program.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign and basic rendering/publishing programs, plus Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• ARE path is a plus.

As an Architectural Intern with the Jacobs Life Sciences North America, you will have the chance to work on state of the science & technology facilities. Working with other members of our team, you'll work on architectural graphic, hand sketch, and digital formatting projects. You will be working in a collaborative atmosphere with in-house architects and engineers on design concepts to make sure they are functional. Here's what you'll need

• Current enrollment in an accredited Architecture program
• Familiarity/Experience with programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• A GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Reliable and strong internet speed - please attach a screenshot of a speed test from your home network if possible
• Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam and CS Suite is a plus.
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings

The base salary range for this position is $47,300.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
