GMA Architects in Richmond Heights, MO is seeking an Architectural Intern to support designers and project teams. The role offers hands-on exposure to site planning, code review, presentation drawings, and coordination with engineers on real projects.

The internship invites students enrolled in an architectural degree program with solid academic standing, and values strong communication, a proactive work ethic, and familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD. A path to full-time could follow graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Architectural Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous Internship or Co-op experience preferred but not required.
• Internship or classwork experience in Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Site and space planning for construction project managers.
• Reviewing building code, local zoning, and park covenants.
• Preparing presentation drawings as required.
• Attending client meetings, coordinating with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers.
• Reviewing project scope.
• Producing architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction.
