7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Design Project Coordination intern in Irving, TX to learn tools, processes, and methodologies used in convenience store development.

You will gain exposure to floor planning, architectural and civil design, and cross-functional collaboration with Real Estate, Entitlements, and Construction teams. You will build foundational design skills, support design deliverable reviews, and contribute to prototype design development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Introduce intern to the tools, processes, and methodologies used in design project coordination for convenience store development.
• Build foundational skills in design including floor planning, architectural, and civil design.
• Provide exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Real Estate, Entitlements, and Construction teams.
• Assist in maintaining design quality by supporting design deliverable owner review.
• Support prototype design development through change request development.
• Analyze historical design data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute to variance analysis and reporting.
• Complete a capstone assignment.
