Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
  • Serve as the eyes and ears of the Project Managers in the field, providing clear, timely updates on project progress, issues, schedule concerns, and installation needs.
  • Maintain a strong focus on project schedules and deadlines, taking initiative to identify potential delays and address them before they become problems.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Project Managers, General Contractors, Superintendents, subcontractors, installers, and other jobsite personnel.
  • Build positive working relationships on the jobsite while maintaining a professional, focused, and productive work environment.
  • Hold installers accountable for quality, productivity, attendance, jobsite expectations, and following project plans and instructions.
  • Lead with a firm but respectful management style-being approachable and fair while setting clear expectations and following through.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail while also understanding the importance of productivity, efficiency, and keeping the project moving forward.
  • Identify installation issues, material shortages, field conditions, or other potential problems and communicate them to the appropriate team members quickly.
  • Help ensure installations are completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and Artisan expectations.
  • Coordinate with the office and project management team to ensure installers have the information, materials, and direction necessary to complete their work.

Artisan Millwork is looking for an experienced and driven Architectural Install Manager to oversee and coordinate our architectural millwork installation projects. This position is responsible for making sure installations stay on schedule, meet Artisan's quality standards, and are completed efficiently and professionally.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with architectural millwork installation, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead installers while maintaining a productive and professional jobsite.

Physical Demands (Must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Repeat the same movements.
  • Lift and carry material up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Job Type: Full‑time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
