Speedway Properties is seeking an Architectural Drafter to support commercial real estate and architectural projects in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will prepare drawings, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure code compliance and accurate area calculations per BOMA standards.

The role involves permit coordination, project documentation, and collaboration with property managers, architects, and consultants to keep projects on schedule and aligned with client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in architecture or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in architectural drafting, commercial tenant improvement, or permitting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit preferred.
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and life safety requirements.
• Knowledge of BOMA area measurement standards and methodology.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and revise architectural construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, details, and permit sets for tenant improvements and commercial projects.
• Coordinate drawings with consultants and maintain standards and accuracy.
• Prepare permit application packages and coordinate submissions with authorities having jurisdiction.
• Perform building and tenant area measurements per BOMA standards and create lease exhibits.
