Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation, a long-standing design-build firm in the Greater Harrisburg area, seeks an Architectural Drafter/Designer to develop construction drawings for commercial and residential projects. You will work from concept through completion, ensuring code compliance and alignment with project managers, engineers, and field staff.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10 years drafting/producing construction drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Associate degree in architectural drafting, architecture, or related field required.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; AutoCAD a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

About The Position

• Coordinate drawings with various Engineers and Consultants.
• Review applicable construction codes.
• Assist in the documentation process for applications to obtain permits.
• Maintain as built records.
• Store accurate record drawing files and archival drawing records for completed projects.

Brief Description

The Architectural Drafter/Designer supports the design and development of residential and commercial construction projects, including new construction and remodeling, from concept through completion. This role creates and maintains accurate architectural and construction drawings, incorporating revisions and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and company standards. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, Ownership, and field personnel, this position helps ensure a smooth transition from design through construction.

What we are looking for from you...

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
• 5-10 years’ experience in drafting/producing construction drawings for residential and commercial projects
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field is required
• Proficient in technology and programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience working with AutoCAD is a plus
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate with other design professionals, Ownership, and Engineers
