JP Architects, Ltd. in Oak Lawn, IL seeks an experienced Architectural Associate with strong residential experience to join our growing firm.

You will contribute from programming and schematic design through construction documents for permit/bid and construction administration, collaborating with our team to deliver quality projects. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of professional architectural experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and a strong command of Revit.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of professional architectural experience, with a proven track record in residential drafting and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.
• Revit proficiency is required; familiarity with 3D rendering tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of residential building codes, construction techniques, and detailing.
• Ability to work well in a team and also independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and strong design capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Experience: 1-5 years of professional architectural experience, with a proven track record in residential drafting and design.
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Revit software is required. Familiarity with 3D rendering tools is a major plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential building codes, construction techniques, and detailing.
• Collaboration: Ability to work smoothly in team settings, but also independently with minimal supervision.
