Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in Houston is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial door projects from estimate through closeout. You will coordinate with customers, vendors and architects to deliver best solutions on time and within budget.

The role requires experience reading plans, using Comsense, and familiarity with Division 8 specs. Strong organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills are essential; Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Experience reading plans & specifications.
• Proficient with industry software (Comsense).
• Familiar with Division 8 specs and construction industry.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project deadlines are met on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and architects to provide best solutions.
• Manage projects from estimate, contract negotiation, submittals, procurement, change orders, delivery, billing and closeout.
