Actalent in Wenatchee, WA is seeking an Architectural Designer for a 12-month contract-to-hire role on-site. The team handles diverse project types from commercial to multifamily and religious facilities, with project values from $1M to $20M.

Proficiency in Revit is essential, with AutoCAD knowledge a plus; relocation is supported for strong candidates. The position offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule, on-site work, and mileage reimbursement for site visits, with relocation assistance

An established local firm in Wenatchee, WA is currently hiring for an Architectural Designer to join their small but mighty team. The firm has a diverse project portfolio and works across commercial, medical, multifamily residential, community, religious, public service, renovation, and food service projects. While based in Wenatchee, the company serves clients across the state, offering exposure to a variety of building types and markets. The firm is open to supporting relocation, as the location is in a rural area. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and a small-community lifestyle would be a good fit.

Pay - $31/hr. - $40/hr. (around $65k/yr. - $85k/yr.)

Schedule - Standard Monday - Friday Morning Shift

Location - Wenatchee, WA (100% On-Site)

12-Month Contract-To-Hire

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to develop design and construction documents to put out for bid and for construction.
• Support with producing Design Development (DD) and Construction Document (CD) packages.
• Support with various construction stages from Schematic Design (SD) to Construction Administration (CA).
• Will mainly utilize Revit to produce and revise drawings, and some clients may require AutoCAD.
• Will support projects ranging from $1M to $5M (biggest project for them is $20M).
• May travel to various project sites (mileage will be reimbursed).

Qualification Requirements

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in architectural design.
• Revit experience is required (non-negotiable). AutoCAD knowledge or ability to learn is preferred.
• Comfortable supporting various project stages ranging from Schematic Design (SD) to Construction Administration (CA).
• Team player and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable overseeing and mentoring junior design staff and drafters down the road (depending on experience, may be offered a Job Captain position).

Disqualifiers

• No Revit experience (the team is currently not in a position to train Revit).
• Candidates wanting fully remote or hybrid; this role is 100% on-site in Wenatchee, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr.
