BRR Architecture, Inc. in Austin is seeking an Architectural Design Staff to join our collaborative design team. You will contribute to production and documentation, coordinate with disciplines, and help develop client presentations throughout the project lifecycle.

We value strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to research, design development, and problem solving. Licensure is not required, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
• Licensure not required.
• Must understand and communicate complex architectural issues.
• Creative and critical thought with ability to graphically communicate concepts.
• Team-oriented, fast-paced environment experience.
• Assist in architectural research, document/design development and program-wide implementation.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Strong communication, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Able to work with all levels of teammates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Revit and AutoCAD critical.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes
• Produce detailed construction documents for projects
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines
• Develop and assist in client and peer presentations
• Attend project and studio meetings
• Build, develop, and maintain client relations
• Assist in problem solving of production issues
• Responsibility for ensuring success of project
• Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives
• Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports
