Job summary

Cushing Terrell in Minneapolis seeks a Design Professional with 4-8 years of architectural experience to join our integrated team on national retail projects. You will help develop design concepts, translate ideas into buildable solutions, and grow your design voice across projects.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, produce construction documents with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite, and contribute to all project phases while maintaining high standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 4+ years of progressive professional architectural experience.
• Knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes required.
• CADD and Revit proficiency required.
• Clear written and verbal communication; team oriented.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops complete set of construction documents including plans, elevations, details, sections.
• Coordinates with staff and specialists to ensure accuracy and completeness of documents.
• Uses Revit for drawings and document preparation.
• Ensures documents meet code, life safety, and standards requirements.
• May lead architectural staff in document development and distribution.
• May assist in site development, layout, materials selection, and cost estimates.
• May perform Project Architect duties including consultant coordination and client interfaces.
