Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer on a contract basis in Denver. The role is onsite with flexible hours, collaborating with the Principal Architectural Consultant from concept through construction documentation.

The candidate should have 2+ years of professional architecture experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, plus a strong design portfolio and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2+ years of professional architectural design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and technical ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite with flexible hours.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal Architectural Consultant to develop and refine architectural designs.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Assist in conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and evaluations to support project requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors as needed.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Contribute creative ideas and solutions throughout all phases of the design process.
• Participate in project meetings, contribute ideas, and integrate feedback.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay updated on design trends, local codes, and sustainable building practices.
