Job summary

SBLM seeks a creative architectural designer to work on mixed-use apartment buildings, educational facilities, hospital environments, and shopping center renovations. You will help develop construction documents, 3-D models, renderings, and presentations to support projects and marketing efforts.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3-D software, plus experience with Adobe and Autodesk suites, is required. The role emphasizes design constructability and collaborative workflows.

Qualifications

• Professional bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in an Architect’s office.
• Expertise in Adobe and Autodesk Suites and at least one Modeling and Rendering Application (Preferred: SketchUp Revit, or 3D Studio Max, and VRay, Enscape, Lumion or Twin Motion).
• High level proficiency with AutoCAD & 3-D software.
• Interior design & planning for the residential mixed-use market is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A passion to make each assignment better than the last.
• An appreciation for managing digital resources, maintaining an economy of means, and authoring work that is clear and easy to collaborate on.
• Ability to bring architectural training and knowledge into the development of Construction drawings and 3-D design models for both Permit submission and Presentation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural drawings to support on-going projects and future marketing efforts. Collaborate with the Architectural Team to develop construction documents, renderings, and 3-D images as appropriate.
