Job summary

Port City Architecture in Portland, ME seeks a Licensed Architect or Architectural Designer on track for licensure with 3+ years of professional experience. The role involves drafting, coordination, and collaboration with leadership, clients, and consultants on various projects.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required; Deltek Specpoint, SketchUp, and Twinmotion are a plus. This is a full-time, in-office position in Portland with travel opportunities within Maine.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Minimum of 3+ years of architectural design and production experience.
• Registered Architect or on track for licensure.
• High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Deltek Specpoint, SketchUp, and Twinmotion is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, and construction documents; willingness to travel to Maine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate construction documents and assist with space planning and detailing.
• Coordinate with regulatory reviews and building technologies.
• Work on-site with field visits, contractor coordination, and construction administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering consultants (MEP, Structural, Civil).
• Operate both independently and within a team.
