LaBella Associates in Rochester, NY is seeking a Project Designer for our K-12 Studio within the Architectural division. The role focuses on developing construction drawings and specifications for review by the Project Manager/Architect, and assisting with construction administration.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in an Architectural/Engineering firm, be proficient in Revit, and hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience at an Architectural/Engineering firm.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in architecture.
• Licensure preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of NYS Codes.
• Knowledge of NYS SED Facilities Planning and K-12 project.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Project Designer in our K-12 Studio under the Architectural division at our growing and energetic Rochester, NY office.

The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design within dedicated studios with projects ranging from targeted renovations and facility maintenance to projects that define communities. We believe architecture is more than creating, maintaining, and resurrecting the buildings in which we live, work, learn, and engage - it's about beautifying and bettering the communities we call home.

The overall expectations of this position are to be capable of developing construction drawings and specification for issuance to the Project Manager/Architect for review. The Project Designer must be capable of performing construction administration and understand the applicable building code to implement into the design. It must be understood that assignments and hence supervision will differ from time to time. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their architectural knowledge. Posses excellent collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual and possess leadership and communication skills.

Salary Range: $56,000 - $81,300 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
