Job summary

Woolpert in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Architecture team. You will contribute to multiple project phases, from design development to construction documentation, and support coordination across disciplines.

Required 5-year BARCH or MS degree in architecture, with licensure preferred and LEED certification preferred. 3+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• 5-year bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture required or preferred.
• Architectural license preferred; LEED certification preferred.
• 3+ years of job-related experience, preferably in complex facilities design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp and Photoshop.
• Strong communication and time-management skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematics, design development and construction documents.
• Develop, modify and review production drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and review construction drawings across disciplines.
• Research materials and plan projects from programming to construction administration.
• Assist project manager with submittals and project coordination.
