Job summary

Mohagen Hansen Architecture Interiors in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Architectural Designer: Level II to join our growing team. This role supports master planning, site planning, conceptual design, and production of construction documents.

The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to contribute to complex, multi-phase projects. We offer a hybrid work model and a collaborative, people-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• 5+ years of architectural design experience.
• Minimum 3 years managing multiple project activities.
• Strong Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, and SketchUp skills.
• Experience with site planning and zoning analysis.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts and architectural solutions
• Prepare Revit models, drawings, and construction documents
• Assist with programming, site planning, and zoning/code analysis
• Support 2D/3D modeling, rendering, and design presentations
• Participate in client discussions and incorporate design feedback
• Support construction administration tasks (shop drawings, RFIs, SIs, submittals)
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and project team members
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative design culture
