PKA Architecture in Minneapolis is seeking an Architectural Designer to join the Uptown studio. The candidate will guide a project from concept to a complete build-ready design, collaborating with Principals and Project Architects from schematic design to construction details.

We value multi-project fluency, efficient task-switching, and the ability to deliver drawings and details with coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of high-end residential design and documentation experience.
• Self-directed with strong time management and organization.
• Licensure not required, but licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with production of drawings for presentations and construction documents.
• 3D modeling for iterative design and for documentation and rendering.
• Coordinate changes in drawings and schedule coordination.
• Coordinate and fill out product and finish schedules.
• Work directly with consultants and engineers.
• Participate in design meetings.
