Job summary

Merrick Lentz Architecture is seeking a full-time Architectural Designer in Kirkland, WA with 3–5 years of professional experience. The role covers all project phases from schematic design to construction documentation, in a collaborative, in-office setting.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Arch. or equivalent, strong drafting and documentation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree.
• Proficiency in design, drafting and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with design and development of architectural projects.
• Producing accurate and comprehensive construction documents.
• Preparing presentation materials and project renderings.
• Coordinating project information and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
• Supporting project delivery from concept through construction.
• Collaborating with project team, consultants and clients.
• Managing multiple assignments while meeting schedules and deadlines.
