Job summary

Golfsheds is redefining backyard golf with premium golf simulator structures and is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer & Drafter to create permit-ready construction drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and detailed plans that support engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of architectural drafting, CAD design, or construction documentation experience.
• Experience producing permit-ready construction drawings.
• Ability to create accurate site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.
• Strong understanding of residential or light commercial construction methods.
• Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, and engineering coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D construction drawings and 3D models for Golfsheds projects.
• Develop permit-ready drawing packages, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction notes.
• Produce accurate site plans using customer surveys, aerial imagery, and property information.
• Prepare drawings that meet applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and consultants to incorporate engineering requirements into final construction documents.
• Create fabrication drawings and shop details to support production and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Installation teams throughout each project.
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, manufacturing efficiency, and completeness.
• Maintain drawing standards, design templates, and organized project documentation.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
