Job summary

Stantec in Denver seeks an architect with 3+ years of experience to support the Buildings team. You will work with a Project Manager/Project Architect and coordinate with project teams, consultants, and Owners through design and construction phases.

Proficiency in Revit and BIM, knowledge of building codes, space planning, and documentation is required. Licensure or pursuit is encouraged; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or licensure path completed or in progress.
• 3+ years of architectural experience, licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM tools (Revit) and design documentation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supports design documentation development for projects.
• Develops designs via sketches, models, diagrams, and massing studies.
• Uses BIM to build 3D models of buildings and systems.
• Participates in design critiques, reviews and submittals.
• Coordinates structural, mechanical, and electrical systems with design intent.
• Prepares site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Reviews drawings, responds to RFIs, and supports contract administration.
• Assists in cost estimation and value engineering.
• Supports sustainable design integration and code adherence.
• Collaborates across phases with internal and external teams.
