Yankopolus Architecture And Design Studio, LLC—based in Gainesville, Florida—seeks a creative Architectural Designer or Interior Designer with 1-3 years of professional experience to join our growing practice.

We value strong design sensibilities, technical proficiency, and a willingness to work across architecture and interiors on projects spanning commercial, hospitality, healthcare, educational, and institutional spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related design discipline.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in an architecture or commercial interior design practice.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and SketchUp.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and graphic presentation skills.
• Experience preparing architectural or interior construction documents.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small team.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Experience with commercial interiors, finish selections, millwork detailing, or FF&E is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We're seeking a creative, motivated Architectural Designer or Interior Designer with 1-3 years of professional experience to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and an interest in working across both architecture and interiors.

This is an opportunity for an emerging design professional who wants to do more than sit behind a computer. At Y Studio, you'll gain hands-on experience across all phases of a project, from initial concepts and space planning through construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration.

You'll work directly with the firm's principal architect, collaborate with consultants and contractors, participate in client meetings, and contribute meaningfully to the design and development of our projects.
