Job summary

xAI is seeking an Architectural Designer for Data Centers to lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of facilities and infrastructure solutions for our cutting-edge data centers. This role encompasses collaboration with various teams to deliver integrated designs and ensure compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, active licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in high-tech environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects are essential. Remote and on-site collaboration will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Active Architectural licensure; NCARB certification strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and construction of advanced data centers.
• Collaborate with various disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
• Create Basis of Design documents and RFQ packages for consultants.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to refine designs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and provide technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders.
• Develop architectural designs using relevant tools.
