Job summary

DLR Group in Portland, OR seeks an Architect with 3–5 years of experience to contribute to project development under mentorship, deliver project documents, and support design teams.

You will collaborate on drawings, models, and specifications, apply BIM standards using Revit, and participate in ongoing learning. Eligible candidates should have an undergraduate Architecture degree and be proficient in Revit.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Architecture
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in architecture
• Proficient in Revit; knowledge of Bluebeam and other standard architecture software
• Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills

Responsibilities

• Propose creative technical solutions to design challenges while ensuring design excellence
• Adhere to quality assurance/control processes and company practice standards
• Contribute to project deliverables, ensuring alignment with project schedules and deadlines
• Coordinate drawings and specifications, assisting in preparation of specific sections
• Apply BIM standards and develop organizational cartoon sets for projects
• Execute quality control procedures and resolve clash detection issues
• Actively collaborate with the project team to generate and communicate design ideas
