Job summary

OneSpace Architects in Virginia Beach is seeking a leader, creative, motivated Project Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience who wants to take greater ownership of projects and grow technically and professionally.

You will contribute to full project lifecycles from initial client meeting through permitting and construction documents, collaborating with a small, fast-paced team. A degree in architecture and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD are required, with licensure progress a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
• Architecture degree from an accredited program
• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction documentation
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, fast-paced team
• Motivated to learn, take ownership, and grow with the firm
• Licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of projects from concept through construction documents
• Create accurate construction drawings and documentation in collaboration with consultants
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals
• Ensure compliance with codes, zoning and permitting requirements
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
