Architectural Design Staff contribute to the project lifecycle by supporting research, document/design development, and production improvements. Responsibilities vary with experience and include coordination with multiple disciplines and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture is required.
• Licensure not required.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex architectural issues.
• Ability to graphically communicate concepts and ideas.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
• Assist in architectural research, document/design development and program-wide implementation.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is critical.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes.
• Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines.
• Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
• Attend project and studio meetings.
• Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
• Assist in process solving of production issues.
• Responsible for ensuring project success.
• Review designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
• Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.

Architectural Design Staff contribute to the overall team and assigned program in coordinating, scheduling, evaluating and developing processes to improve production efficiencies through the effective management of projects and tasks. They will assist in architectural research, document/design development, and program-wide implementation efforts.

• Ability to assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation and program-wide implementation efforts.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Must be able to work well with all levels of teammates.
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Computer software knowledge, skills in Revit and AutoCAD are critical. Drive to research and utilize technology in architectural applications.
