CRB is offering an Architectural Intern opportunity in Irvine, CA. You will work under a mentor to develop and implement project deliverables, including 3D modeling, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture with experience in Microsoft Office and an interest in Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries. Eagerness to learn and collaborate with diverse teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
• Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
• Must be willing to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients and contractors)
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications

Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards
• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead
• Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors)
• Note: responsibilities may be performed across more than one project simultaneously and with the architectural staff
• - Additional tasks as assigned in line with CRB’s standards
