At DAHLIN, luxury residential design is part of our founding DNA. We are seeking an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN DIRECTOR – Luxury Residential to help shape the future. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary, client-focused designer ready to step into a leadership role and build something meaningful.

This is a hybrid position that requires onsite presence at one of our company locations, as well as travel to other company sites.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Lead the design of luxury homes with a deep understanding of client vision, site, topography, and regional character.
2. Create and champion high-quality design solutions from concept through completion, blending innovation with real-world constructability.
3. Guide and inspire a growing team, overseeing visualization, deliverables, and design execution.
4. Design to varying possibilities while maintaining design excellence across all price points.
5. Actively share your luxury design expertise and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful business development and project outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• The ability to communicate compellingly, think visually, and design exceptional luxury homes that thoughtfully respond to regional context and character.
• Proven leadership that is intuitive and adaptable, with a talent for thriving in collaborative environments and a motivation to build strong teams and a distinguished body of work.
• A keen eye for uncovering a site's unique attributes and thoughtfully leveraging them to craft a seamless, enriching experience both inside and out for its residents.
• Strong ability to work with and mentor staff and guide projects through all phases of design and delivery for a luxury home.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of relevant experience including leading a team.
• Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, Interior Design or a related field. Licensure.
• Commitment to their own professional growth.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
