This role serves as a trusted resource for architects, designers, builders, and developers by providing product expertise, technical support, and educational presentations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop relationships with architects, designers, builders, and developers to drive product specifications and sales opportunitieDeliver AIA continuing education presentations and product training.Promote AWAA products within residential, commercial, multifamily, and modular markets.Provide technical product support and solutions for project opportunities.Collaborate with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.Coordinate factory tours, customer events, and industry outreach activities.Represent AWAA at trade shows and industry events.Gather market intelligence and share customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive insights.Maintain customer activity and opportunities within the CRM system.Perform other duties as assigned.CORE COMPETENCIESExcellent people skills necessary to facilitate difficult or emotional situations.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens, demonstrates group presentation skills; writes clearly and informatively.Ability to work independently to exercise sound judgement.Think quickly to identify / solve customer concerns.Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs.Read and understand building plans, shop drawings, and blueprints.Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization’s values.Upholds organization values: Treats people with respect, keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others, works with integrity.Flexibility.
