Job summary

ALTEN in Culver City seeks a dedicated Architectural and Engineering Documentation and Drawing Manager to organize the document library in hard copy and digital formats and coordinate with project teams to issue drawings to outside architects and engineers.

You will ensure CAD documents meet SPE layering standards, manage external drawing services, update as-builts, and release drawings to Archibus. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Architectural and/or engineering background.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and building codes.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Previous experience in entertainment, facilities, and property management is a plus.
• Ability to produce 3D renderings is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic Microsoft Suite programs, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain architectural and engineering document library in hard copy and digital formats.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to issue background drawings to outside architects and engineers.
• Assure CAD documents from outside architects and engineers meet SPE layering standards.
• Manage 3rd party drawing management service and/or software.
• Coordinate distribution of Issue for Construction documents in hard copy format to Sony construction and specialty trades.
• Ensure redline as-builts are updated on the digital drawing set, with outside or internal teams.
• Update and release drawings to Archibus for corporate offices and studios.
