Qualifications

• Associate degree in architectural Drafting or Architecture.
• 2+ years of architectural drafting experience, including layouts, building modeling, rendering, and space allocation.
• U.S. citizenship required; Public Trust/NACI clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, drawings, and specifications for engineering projects, facilities, structures, systems, equipment, devices, materials, or methods using the AFRL RQOE Feature Modeling (3DCAD) and CAE/CAM system.
• Design calculations, prepare layouts, prepare detailed specifications, and prepare parts lists and estimates as required.
• Produce workable designs from rough sketches or verbal descriptions for mechanical components and lightweight structures.
• Ensure designs are maintainable, easy to assemble, and reliable.
• Prepare information on parts, materials, dimensions, and safety characteristics.
