Job description

Objectives

To provide design and documentation of various Wormald Companies’ projects, including single-family, multi-family residential.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and developing designs in a collaborative process
• Permitting and Construction Documents
• Energy Tabulations (Rescheck, etc…)
• Building Footprints
• Strip plans and elevations
• Coordination with Civil engineers, Site superintendents, designers, suppliers, sales and accounting professionals.
• Resolving issues from the field

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience (preferred)
• Experience with residential design or construction
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Hard working with good time-management skills.
• Responsive to time pressures. Self-motivated and doesn’t need to be micro-managed.
• Able to juggle a variety of tasks and prioritize as needed to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Good communication skills via email, conversation and graphics.
• The ability to explore ideas quickly, by sketch or other means
• Commitment to collaboration, shared knowledge and efficiency
• Be willing to do any task at any time with a good attitude. No task is below any person at The Wormald Companies, including Directors.

Pay

$85,000 – $100,000+/- depending on experience. Flexible work arrangements (remote, part-time, etc…) will be considered as warranted.
