Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to design and govern enterprise architectures across business, data, and infrastructure.

You will develop migration plans, reference models, and integrated hardware-software solutions to meet mission requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent, with experience on multiple IT systems and leading architecture efforts on large projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience performing architecture work on at least five IT systems.
  • Significant role in all aspects of architecture work on at least two large IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for migrating architectures.
  • Develop technical reference models including hardware/software standards.
  • Engineer integrated hardware and software solutions to meet mission requirements.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.

Responsibilities:

The Systems Architect (Senior) is responsible for developing business, data, systems, and infrastructure models to develop enterprise architectures. His/her responsibilities include performing the following tasks:

  • A. Developing plans for migrating architectures;
  • B. Developing technical reference models to include hardware/software standards; and
  • C. Engineering integrated hardware and software solutions to meet mission requirements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master’s degree in Information Technology is a plus.)
  • Experience performing architecture related work on at least five IT systems
  • Experience performing a significant role in all aspects of architecture related work on at least two large IT systems
