Job summary

HDR is seeking an Architect to contribute to design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well‑being. You will influence how people experience built environments, from healthcare facilities to civic landmarks.

Responsibilities include applying architectural techniques, leading components of revenue‑producing projects, and writing reports and specifications. Requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, 3+ years of experience, and a Registered Architect credential; proficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
  • Commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria, making minor adaptations as needed.
  • Perform assignments with specific objectives, investigating a limited set of variables.
  • Follow instructions on assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility.
  • Recommend and select procedures.
  • Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters.
  • Take responsibility for phases of individual revenue‑producing projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
