Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking an Architect- SAP SCM to lead the SAP SCM portfolio, align production planning, manufacturing, QM, WM, and MES integrations, and guide the functional roadmap.

You will also manage the SAP SCM team, partner with business process owners, and drive on-time delivery amidst legacy and new initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years ERP experience across ERP systems and SAP SCM modules (PP, QM, WM) and MES integration.
  • 10+ years hands-on IBP (SAP) processes, configuration, and best practices.
  • 10+ years’ experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Workday).
  • 10+ years direct people-management experience leading a technical or functional team.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear-adjacent manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader and enterprise solution architect for the SAP SCM functional area, setting design direction across Production Planning, Manufacturing, QM, WM, Shop Floor Control, and MES/Engineering integration
  • Partner with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to identify, prioritize, and scope process needs, balancing new initiatives against support of legacy processes and integrations
  • Own the functional roadmap for SAP SCM, including evaluation of legacy non SAP systems, and SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transition needs
  • Guide implementation of SAP SCM projects from requirements through go-live, in coordination with Application Management Services (AMS) support processes
  • Establish and track delivery metrics (e.g., ticket resolution time, project on-time rate, system uptime) and report status to IT and business leadership
  • Manage the SAP SCM functional team: hiring, onboarding, development planning, and annual performance evaluations
  • Set team priorities and workload to drive efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery of business value
  • Coach team members on both technical depth and stakeholder-facing skills
  • Own team capacity planning and staffing recommendations, feeding directly into the resource planning process

Your Responsibilities

This is a dual-mandate role: the Architect, SAP SCM operates simultaneously as the Enterprise Solution Architect for Curtiss-Wright’s SAP Supply Chain Management portfolio — Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, and Shop Floor Control, and its integration with Engineering and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) — and as the People Manager for the SAP SCM functional team. Both pillars are core, co-equal responsibilities of the role.

Your Challenge

What you Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
  • 20+ years ERP experience across ERP systems and SAP with hands-on in SCM modules (PP, QM, WM), MES integration, and enterprise-level solution architecture and roadmap ownership for a multi-module ERP portfolio
  • 10+ years experience of hands-on Integrated Business Planning (IBP) (SAP ) processes, configuration, and best practices
  • At least 10+ years’ experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Workday)
  • 10+ years of direct people-management experience leading a technical or functional team, including hiring, performance management, and development planning
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear-adjacent manufacturing environments
