Chase is seeking a Lead Architect to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data platforms and deployment pipelines at our Wilmington, DE location. You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive infrastructure as code across large-scale cloud deployments.
Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in AWS, MongoDB, and big data technologies, with strong governance and security practices.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions using cloud deployments, thinking beyond conventional approaches to solve technical problems. Develop secure, high-quality production code and utilize infrastructure as code, reviewing and debugging code to ensure adherence to best practices. Develop software solutions that integrate with cloud deployments, ensuring robust and reliable systems. Engage with technical teams and business stakeholders to propose and implement technical solutions using cloud deployments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future needs. Define and drive the achievement of the technical target state for products, focusing on cloud deployment infrastructure, big data solutions, and infrastructure as code. Participate in architecture governance to ensure compliance with standards and best practices, particularly in the use of cloud deployments. Evaluate new cloud deployment technologies to assess their impact and applicability within the organization. Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance operational stability of software applications and systems. Host evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials, focusing on cloud deployment solutions. Drive the adoption of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and security practices in cloud deployment environments to enhance application resiliency and operational efficiency.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology Systems or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Architect, Mongol DB Architect, Database Architect, Technical Specialist, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Architect, Mongol DB Architect, Database Architect, Technical Specialist, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
