We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dataverse and D365 Architect with proven experience in solutions architecture related to Microsoft’s Dataverse and D365 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions for Wipfli’s Dataverse deployments and D365 (including Sales & Service modules), aligning with our business needs and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Dataverse and D365 as a whole, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, high-performing Dataverse and D365 solutions within the firm’s ecosystem.
  • Customize Dataverse and D365 to meet specific business requirements, including integration with Microsoft Power Platform components and third-party applications.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for Power Platform development, including coding standards, version control, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create detailed solution design documents, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Support stakeholders and developers by breaking down designs, explaining technical needs, and creating executable deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to D365 applications, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with Microsoft and Wipfli best practices, balancing business needs and technical standards.
  • Provide training and support on Dataverse and D365 functionalities and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Business preferred.
  • At least 10 years of proven technical experience, with recent focus on Dataverse and D365 development and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Logic Apps, Power Pages, and other Microsoft Power Platform components.
  • Experience architecting solutions for D365 Customer Engagement apps like Sales and Service.
  • Understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Angular/React, .NET.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data integration, including Azure services and SQL databases.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Power Pages experience and relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with Scrum/Agile methodologies preferred.
