Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Architect, IT Solution Marketing Technologies to drive domain technology plans in alignment with enterprise goals and business processes within marketing technology systems.

The role focuses on designing scalable solutions, integrating CDPs/CRM platforms, and guiding AI/ML initiatives for personalization, loyalty, and customer engagement across omnichannel retail ecosystems. Strong collaboration with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 6 years of IT/Martech experience
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or related field preferred; other combinations considered
• Experience architecting AI/ML solutions and models for personalization and customer engagement

Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing and driving domain technology plans to align with enterprise goals, business plans and business processes for systems within a specific functional area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Analyze, design, and develop domain roadmaps that align with goals, business plans, and business processes.

• Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements.

• Plan project activities for a development or engineering team to meet enterprise schedule.

• Create project design documentation and provide technical oversight to ensure successful delivery.

• Maintain domain standards complying with enterprise standards, ensuring solutions are optimally designed, secure, well performing and integrated with other solutions.

• Evaluate emerging technology for use in domain.

• Document domain technology used to perform business processes.

• Identify, analyze, and communicate architecture and integration options and make recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 6 years of increasingly technical Information Technology / Martech (marketing technology) experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

• Experience architecting AI/ML solutions and models for personalization, customer engagement, loyalty, recommendations, decisioning, and other customer facing use cases

• Experience building, deploying, and productionizing machine-learning models is a strong plus. Familiarity with Generative AI, predictive, propensity, and recommendation models preferred.

• Experience with CDPs, CRM, personalization, marketing automation, journey orchestration , and integrations across ecommerce, loyalty, analytics, and customer engagement platforms

• Strong understanding of customer journeys, omnichannel engagement, and retail/ecommerce digital ecosystems .

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, APIs, SOA, integration patterns, real time/batch data processing, and scalable solution design .

• Ability to translate business and customer needs into scalable technical solutions and quickly evaluate new and emerging technologies.

• Ability to evaluate architecture options based on business value, cost, scalability, risk, security, privacy, and long term strategy .Strong collaboration skills across Marketing, Product, Data Science, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Data teams , with the ability to establish architecture standards and responsible AI/ML practices.
