Job summary

Lynn Rodens in Sacramento is seeking an Architect I/II to join a collaborative design team. You will balance design, technical coordination, and project leadership, guiding projects from early design through construction administration.

Responsibilities include developing drawings, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and leading QA/QC at Architect II level. Licensed architects with 5–8 years of experience are preferred for this onsite/hybrid role in Sacramento.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Current Architect license/registration.
• 5–8 years of architectural design and project-management experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings, models, 3D renderings, specs, and construction documents.
• Translate concepts into coordinated project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
• Perform site visits, surveys, design meetings, and construction observations.
• Support construction administration with submittal reviews and RFIs.
• Manage technical resolution and coordination across projects.
• Maintain schedules, quality standards, and documentation accuracy.
• Provide guidance to architects-in-training and junior staff.
• At Architect II level, lead design discussions, QA/QC, and coordinate finished plans.
• Participate in business development efforts as appropriate.
