- Take responsibility for shaping and delivering Data & AI Architecture, workingclosely with the Lead Data Architect across change projects and programmes
- Develop and maintain alignment with GK’s Enterprise Data & AI Architectureprinciples, standards and methodology enabling the organisation to be a leading datadriven company
- Create and maintain enterprise data & AI architecture assets that meets datagovernance, regulatory and business requirements, mapping the businessrequirements to data requirements and defining how the data should be provisionedto the business to serve all of their needs to ensure consistency, ease of use andperformance
- Contribute to the common reference data and hierarchies in collaboration withData Stewards, Analysts and Business SME’s to agree and ratify these data sets
- Ensure that data definitions align to the enterprise data model and that thesedefinitions/models are adhered to on transformation programmes
- Work closely with technology teams to enable physical schemas to be implementedin the Data & Analytics solution that align to the enterprise data models
- Define the policies and standards for how data is used, stored, managed andintegrated and its data systems (operational and analytical)
- Define the data architecture as part of a data solution (e.g. ETL, data integration anddata migration) for a wider programme
- Building conceptual and physical data models, optimised for operational or analyticaluse cases
- Documentation of solutions (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup)
- Providing Quality Assurance, reviewing relevant development activity
- Contributing to the methods, standards and keeping abreast of the technicaladvances in data engineering for the Data Practice
- Design, deliver and implement Data & AI Architecture in line with the organisation'sgoals for data
- Proactively research latest developments and emerging trends in Data and AI. Andidentify how these can be applied to drive growth and efficiency withing GreeneKing

shaping and executing the Greene King data architecture across IT; you’ll be heavily

of different data-related tasks and activities designed to improve data across the board.

Qualifications
- A demonstrable passion for data and AI, as well as for technology in general
- Strong technical understanding of modern data and AI architecture frameworks andapproaches
- Ability to define standards, patterns & building blocks within an architecturalframework
- Extensive experience of delivering in both an Agile and Waterfall environment
- Ability to create and communicate solution designs, following key architecturalprinciples to inform business cases and project starts
- Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to work at a senior level in aprofessional manner
- Comfortable in presenting complex data and information to non-technical audiences
- Customer centric- putting the customer at the heart of everything you do
- Broad understanding of technology disciplines covering application, integration,hosting, networking, security (required)
- Skilled in using at least one data modelling tool to develop normalised data modelswith the ability to reverse engineer from physical to logical models
- Track record in supporting the development of common data platforms (ideallyusing Azure or Data Bricks components)
- Experience of the Retail or Hospitality sectors (desirable)
- Architecture Certification such as TOGAF (desirable)
- Good technical awareness of common software platforms and packages
- Experience of working within an IT Governance Framework (inc Technical Design
- Authority and Change Advisory Boards) (desirable)
