Job summary

Gresham Smith is seeking an Architect for the Aviation Market to contribute across all project phases, from design development to construction documents, with emphasis on aviation design and delivery for our clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in aviation or commercial architecture, a Bachelor of Architecture, licensure, and proficiency with REVIT, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and Photoshop. This role offers collaborative teamwork and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aviation or commercial architecture experience.
• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university or equivalent Master pathway.
• Licensed architect with aviation design experience.
• Proficient in REVIT, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects, including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
• Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents. Develop, modify, and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
• Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project.
• Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
• Review construction submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
• Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in aviation or commercial architecture.
• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university or a 4-year degree with a Master of Architecture.
• Licensed with Aviation design experience required.
• Demonstrated experience using REVIT Sketchup, Enscape, Lumion and Photoshop software.
