Job summary

Gresham Smith in Tampa is seeking an Architect – Aviation Market to lead design efforts for aviation and commercial projects. You will perform work across design development, construction documents, and coordination, shaping spaces where people live and work.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in aviation or commercial architecture, a Bachelor of Architecture, licensure, and hands-on experience with REVIT, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation or commercial architecture.
• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed with Aviation design experience required.
• Proficient in REVIT, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects, including design development, presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and construction drawings.
• Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents. Develop, modify, and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
• Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project.
• Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
• Review construction submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
• Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Licensed with Aviation design experience required.
• Demonstrated experience using REVIT Sketchup, Enscape, Lumion and Photoshop software.
