Job description

We are looking for employees to join our archery team in Boise. Al's Sporting Goods sells the top brands in the industry including Hoyt, Bear Archery, Matthews, PSE, Prime Archery, and more! The ideal candidate is well-experienced and eager to share their knowledge and experience with customers to help them find the right gear they need. In addition to working with the top brands in the industry, you'll have access to vendor deals and exclusive employee discounts!

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify customer needs and make appropriate product recommendations
2. Teach customers proper archery form and basic shooting principles
3. Arrow assembly
4. Maintain department and store cleanliness
5. Maintain the organization and merchandise displays in your department
6. Assist customers with picking out the right hunting apparel
7. Properly fit hunting packs

Qualifications

Required

1. Bow hunting experience
2. Basic knowledge of bow tuning, arrow assembly, and shooting technique
3. Ability to teach customers proper archery form and basic shooting principles
4. Knowledge of archery brands including Hoyt, Bear, PSE, Prime, Spothogg
5. Punctual and efficient work ethic
6. Comfortable approaching and talking with customers
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Proactive mindset
9. Ability to work with a team

1. Knowledge and experience with guns and fishing
