Fargo Parks is seeking an Archery Instructor to lead beginner archery classes for youth and adults in a safe, engaging recreational setting. Instructors will work with staff to schedule classes and deliver quality instruction that meets beginner participants’ needs.
Must be 18+ with BAi certification (or willingness to obtain) and be able to pass a background check. Evening shifts are available (approx. 5:00–8:30 pm) with potential daytime hours in summer.

New instructors welcomed! We also welcome applications from archery enthusiasts who would like to become trained instructors for Fargo Parks District recreation programming.
The Archery Instructor leads beginner-level archery classes for youth and/or adult participants through Fargo Park District Community Education programs. Instructors create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where participants can learn fundamental archery skills, proper technique, and range safety.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about archery and enjoy teaching others in a hands-on, recreational setting. Instructors will work with program staff to schedule classes and deliver quality instruction that meets the needs of beginner participants.
Minimum Age: Must be 18 years of age or older
Certification Requirement: Must have or be willing to obtain a Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) certification. Fargo Parks will provide certification opportunities for selected candidate(s).
Background Check: Must able to pass a background check, according to Fargo Park District Policies.
Ability to actively participate in archery instruction and range setup. This position may require:
