Job summary

Hanson Elementary School in Hanson, Kentucky seeks an Archery Assistant paraprofessional to support athletic programs under the head coach. You will assist with daily and long-range activities, help plan programs, and supervise student athletes during travel, while promoting PBIS and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a successful criminal background check, and adherence to Kentucky coaching requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or progressing toward GED as per Kentucky law.
Criminal record check successfully completed.
Must follow all KHSAA coaching requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist coaches in daily and long-range athletic activities.
Assist coaches in planning the athletic program.
Lead small groups of student athletes under the direction of head coaches.
Assist in guiding participants toward a harmonious team spirit.
Assist in providing escort and supervision to athletes during team travel.
Recommend to the head coach the purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms for health, safety, and welfare of student athletes.
Utilize PBIS as outlined at the school/district.
Perform other non-coaching duties assigned by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Adhere to the professional code of ethics.
Utilize technology as appropriate in job function.
