Job summary

The role supports the Laboratory of Archaeology Director and staff with inventory, rebagging, rehousing, and related tasks, with a term ending one year after start date subject to funding.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of archaeological site file management.
• Strong working knowledge of GNAHRGIS.
• Strong working knowledge of archaeological collections management.
• Strong working knowledge of archaeological database management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laboratory of Archaeology Director with curation and collections management tasks.
• Re-bagging, re-boxing, rehousing, and inventorying archaeological collections.
• Database-related tasks for the Laboratory of Archaeology.
• Assist with maintaining standards of care including condition reports.
