ICF's Environment & Planning Division is seeking On-Call (Temporary) Archaeologists based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are passionate about doing what's right for our clients, communities, and the environment. Our team includes planners, scientists, program managers, and more, committed to excellence and growth.
The On-Call Archaeologist will assist senior archaeologists in fieldwork, including survey, testing, evaluation, data recovery, and construction monitoring. Additional duties may involve laboratory analysis, background research, report preparation, and other tasks. The role requires excellent field skills, artifact identification, detailed note-taking, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel for up to 10 days may be required.
As an On-Call employee, you will work on a project-specific basis, accepting or declining work hours as they become available. This flexible schedule allows you to work on multiple projects without conflicts of interest.
