Colorado State University’s Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) is seeking multiple full-time Archaeologists to support U.S. Army Garrison installations across Oahu (Schofield Barracks) and the Island of Hawaii (Pohakuloa Training Area). These roles offer the opportunity to work in Hawaii’s culturally rich landscapes while contributing to environmental stewardship and cultural resource protection. You will participate in fieldwork, archaeological surveys, cultural monitoring, data collection, and project coordination, collaborating with Cultural Resource Managers and project leadership. This is meaningful work with real impact on cultural preservation, environmental compliance, and long-term resource sustainability.
U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii. Installations include Fort Shafter, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, Tripler Army Medical Center, Makua Military Reservation, Pohakuloa Training Area, Kahuku Training Area, and other satellite sites.
