Job summary

A leading archaeology firm is seeking an experienced Archaeologist to supervise Phase I-III fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in anthropology or archaeology, over 4 years of experience including supervisory roles, and familiarity with GIS programs like ArcGIS Pro and Google Earth. This role also requires strong writing skills and the ability to provide a writing sample. Valid driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• A Masters Degree from an accredited school in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field.
• Must meet the Secretary of the Interiors Qualification Standards for Archaeologists.
• 4+ years of experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology.
• Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I-III fieldwork.
• Must be able to provide a writing sample from either a thesis, dissertation, or archaeological report.
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, Google Earth, and/or other GIS programs
• Significant lab and curation experience
