Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking an Archaeological Technician to support field and laboratory tasks for archaeological investigations and regulatory compliance in Texas. Under supervision, you will assist in survey, excavation, documentation, and artifact processing while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
This temporary, on-call position offers exposure to a variety of projects, with travel to sites as needed and opportunities to build hands-on experience in CRM practices.
The Archaeological Technician is responsible for conducting field and laboratory tasks in support of archaeological investigations and regulatory compliance. Working under the supervision of a Project Archaeologist, this role assists in survey, excavation, documentation, and artifact processing activities while helping ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
We are actively screening and interviewing qualified Archaeological Technicians to support current and future project needs. Many of these opportunities will be temporary, on-call assignments, with schedules and project durations varying based on client demand, location, and workload.
